2. Booking and Payments

2.1. Booking: Users can book tennis lessons through our website using the secure customer portal (powered by Intennis software). Booking terms and availability may vary and are subject to change without notice.

2.2. Payments: Payments for bookings made through our website are processed securely via the secure customer portal (Intennis software). All transactions are subject to the terms and conditions of Intennis and our centre.

3. Privacy

3.1. Collection of Information: We may collect personal information from users in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable laws. By using our website, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

3.2. Google Analytics: Our website uses Google Analytics to collect and analyze data about your use of our website. This data helps us improve our services but does not personally identify you. By using our website, you consent to the processing of data by Google Analytics as described in their privacy policy.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1. Ownership: All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Sylvania Waters Tennis Centre or its content suppliers and is protected by Australian and international copyright laws.

4.2. Use: You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or republish any content from our website without our prior written consent.

5. Sign-up for Lessons at Sylvania Waters Tennis Centre

Payments:

• A deposit equivalent to 1 week's worth of lessons (20% of total invoice) is required to secure your lesson spot.

• The remaining lesson fees (less deposit) are due by the specified Due Date.

• Late payments may result in forfeiting your lesson spot, which may be offered to someone on the waitlist and listed on the SWTC online portal/app. Your deposit will remain as a credit on your profile.

• If Term Fees are not paid in full by the Due Date, the Applicant Player’s coaching position may be forfeited and filled by another player.

• Payment arrangements (split payments) are possible if agreed upon prior to term commencement.

• Payment methods include cash, debit/credit card at Sylvania Waters Tennis Centre reception, through the emailed invoice link, or by bank transfer (details below).

Missed Lessons:

• Missed lessons without notice (no shows) cannot be made up.

• Make-up lessons are available for:

  • Wet weather cancellations by the club (notification via email, text, or app).

  • Self-cancelled absences on the SWTC app or online portal at least 8 hours before the lesson.

  • Sudden illness with a doctor's certificate (only if lesson fees are paid in full).

• A maximum of 2 make-up lessons per term are offered for student-cancelled lessons. Cancelling more than two lessons forfeits those lessons.

• Rain cancellations by the club will always be offered a make-up lesson.

• It is the Applicant Player’s responsibility to contact Sylvania Waters Tennis Centre for confirmation of wet weather cancellations.

Communication:

• Late arrival for scheduled lessons results in forfeiture of that part of the lesson without extension.

• Commitment to the term of lessons; refunds are not given for changes in circumstances or other commitments.

• Notifications of cancelled lessons due to rain are sent via text message, app, and social media. Verification of cancellations is the responsibility of the Applicant Player.

• Same-day rescheduling of make-up lessons is permissible under the aforementioned conditions for missed lessons with notice.

• The Applicant Player forfeits scheduled make-up lessons by failing to attend.

Photos:

• Photos may be taken for coaching, learning, advertising, and social media purposes. Notify us if you prefer not to have your photo taken.

6. Court Hire

Court Reservations:

• Online bookings cannot be rescheduled to a different time or day.

• Racquets or balls can be rented from our office staff for an additional fee.

• Note to coaches: online bookings are intended for recreational players and should not be used for personal coaching sessions.

• SWTC reserves the right to reassign courts in special circumstances, with advance notice.

Cancellations:

• Cancellations within 6 hours of the court booking time forfeit the booking.

• Online bookings cannot be rescheduled to a different time or day due to cancellations.

Wet Weather:

• Call (02) 9522 4252 to confirm court conditions before arrival.

• Weather-related cancellations receive credit towards future court bookings.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1. Disclaimer: To the extent permitted by law, Sylvania Waters Tennis Centre excludes all liability for any loss, injury, or damage resulting from your use of our website or services.

7.2. Indemnity: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sylvania Waters Tennis Centre, its affiliates, officers, directors, agents, and employees from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising out of your use of our website or services.

8. Modifications

8.1. Changes: We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions.
