Hey guys, my names Beau Petersson, I’ve been involved in tennis since I was 8 years old. I was always very active, I played a mixture of cricket, tennis and soccer growing up with tennis being the one that really grew on me and eventually stuck!
I started coaching at Gilmour’s Tennis Centre in 2005 through till 2008. I became a Tennis Australia qualified and accredited Junior Development coach in 2008 and went on to coach at Homebush for Tennis NSW between 2008-2010. Throughout that time I worked as a State Squad coach, working with elite junior players, coaching members of the general public, general administrative duties and customer service.
From 2009-2010 I worked with another Sydney based tennis centre which led to briefly working as a travelling coach within Australia and throughout the Pacific region with an Australian junior player. I started at Sylvania Waters Tennis Centre with Monique and Ryan in mid August 2013 and now moving on 11 years with them.

I feel very grateful and honoured to contribute each day and look forward to being an integral part of their business, giving them my all and helping them to continue to grow their already successful tennis centre in which they have created.
As a coach apart from the obvious technique that must be taught, I feel that you have to have a good personality and interaction with the student/client to be able to connect and get the best out of them. I'm very much about honing in on the technique side of things, whilst making it fun and challenging them and myself each time as it is important for growth as a player and as a person. I hope this has given you a little insight as to whom and what I am about.
